A close friend recently (written in 2021) suffered an almost fatal heart attack. That turned out to be not only a wake up call in terms of health but it also made it painfully clear that even in 2021, a lot of docters lack the specific knowledge of the female heart. Historically, research and innovation in heart disease was for men by men. But women are not small men. Today's article on CNA explores how many goods and inventions are not made with women in mind. Congee

De kassière gaf mij een zeer goed bedoelde  tip voor de behandeling van de buikgriep van mijn zoon. “Just give him rice porridge (congee) with soya sauce. We always give that to our children when they have the  stomach flu.” Die rijst snap ik. Maar sojasaus als je je al misselijk voelt?

Speak Singlish can? Cannot.
